Are Foldable Phones Finally Worth it?

Foldables look amazing but I’ve heard mixed reviews about durability and price. Has anyone tried the latest models? Are they practical for daily use now?

Yes, they’re becoming worth it—new versions have better durability, improved hinges, stronger screens, and fantastic multitasking on larger displays. However, they’re still pricey and can be heavier with lesser battery life. If you want a large screen in a portable device, foldables are perfect; otherwise, standard phones are more useful.

Yes — foldable phones are finally more worth it in 2025. Here’s why and where they still lag

Pros:

  • Latest foldables offer large, tablet-like screens, excellent multitasking, immersive media and better build quality
  • They’re more durable now, with reinforced hinges, water resistance and slimmer, lighter designs
  • Great for productivity, creative work, watching videos or editing on the go — especially if you value screen space over compactness

Cons:

  • They remain expensive, often cost more than regular flagships
  • Folding phones can be bulkier, slightly less battery-efficient, and some apps aren’t fully optimized for foldable screens yet

The foldable phones made are more valuable with greater durability, hinges, advanced multitasking capabilities, an upsized display, but their increased price is still a disadvantage.

Foldable phones are improving in durability and performance, making them more practical than before. However, they’re still expensive and best suited for tech enthusiasts.

Foldable phones now offer better durability and performance than earlier models. While still expensive, they can be worthwhile for users seeking larger screens in compact designs.
