I want to know, can you get internet without cable TV and still have a reliable connection? What options are available like fiber, DSL, mobile broadband, or wireless internet, and are they cost-effective compared to bundled cable plans? Anyone using internet-only services, please share your experience.

Yes, absolutely. Most ISPs now offer standalone internet plans. Fiber is the best if available—fast and stable. DSL works in rural areas but can be slow. Mobile broadband is decent for light usage, but data caps matter. I dropped cable two years ago and haven’t missed it once.

Can You Get Internet without Cable TV? From a technical standpoint, yes—and it’s increasingly common. Fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) provides symmetric speeds and low latency. Fixed wireless is improving with newer standards. The key is checking service-level agreements, peak-hour congestion, and data caps before committing.

I ditched cable TV and realized I was paying ₹500 a month just to scroll channels and still end up on YouTube. Internet-only life is peaceful. No remote fights. No “why is this still on?” moments. Just Wi-Fi and vibes.

Can You Get Internet without Cable TV? ISPs will act like you’re asking for forbidden knowledge, but yes. They just really want you to pay for 300 channels you’ll never watch. Say “internet-only” firmly. Repeatedly. Like you’re negotiating a hostage situation.

I’ve been on an internet-only fiber plan for four years now. Work from home, video calls, streaming—zero issues. The cost was lower than my old bundle, even after taxes. The trick is ignoring the “limited-time bundle discount” pressure.

Check availability first. Fiber > fixed wireless > DSL > mobile hotspots. If you stream everything anyway, internet-only makes way more sense than paying for cable nostalgia.
