How to Download Music on Spotify?

I want to know how to download music on Spotify so I can listen offline without internet. What steps do I need to follow, and does this work on both mobile and desktop?

Premium members of the Spots can download songs, albums, or even playlists to listen to them offline, right in the Spotify application.

Spotify does not allow you to download music without having a Premium subscription, but you can then switch the “Download” button on the individual albums or playlists within the application to allow you to listen to them offline.
