I accidentally sent an email with the wrong attachment and now I’m panicking. I’ve heard people ask, can you unsend an email in outlook after it’s already delivered? Does this feature really work, and are there specific conditions where you can unsend an email in outlook successfully?

Yes, Outlook allows you to unsend an email using the "Message Recall" feature, but it only works if both the sender and recipient have Microsoft 365 or Exchange accounts. Alternatively, you can enable a "Undo Send" delay in settings, which gives you up to 10 seconds to stop an email from being sent after clicking the button.

Yes, it is possible to undo a mistake in Outlook using the "Recall This Message" feature. Open the sent email, go to the "File" menu, and select "Resend or Recall." This only works if both parties are on Microsoft Exchange and the recipient hasn't opened it. Alternatively, you can enable the "Undo Send" delay in settings to stop emails for a few seconds after clicking send.

Yes, you can sometimes undo a mistake and unsend an email in Outlook. If you use Undo Send (delay send feature), you can cancel it within the set time. In some Outlook versions, you can also use Recall Message, but it only works if the recipient hasn’t opened it and is on the same email system.
