Can You See Who Views Your Videos on Facebook?

I’m curious and want to know: can you see who views your videos on Facebook or does Facebook only show total view counts? Is there any official way to check individual viewers, or is that information kept private? If anyone has clear and updated details, please explain.

No, Facebook does not allow users to see exactly who viewed their videos. You can only view total views, reach, and audience insights for business pages. For personal profiles, individual viewer identities remain completely hidden for privacy reasons.

Honestly, Facebook doesn’t let you see who views your videos individually. You can only see the total number of views and some aggregated demographics if you’re using a Page. So if you’re just posting as yourself, the individual viewers are completely private. It’s mainly for privacy reasons.

If Facebook did show everyone who watched, I’d be terrified. Imagine your ex seeing your cat videos on loop. Let’s just be grateful for anonymous stalking, I say.

From a technical standpoint, only Pages with video uploads over 30 seconds get access to “Video Insights,” which shows age, gender, and region of viewers, but never names. So, no, you cannot see who views your videos on Facebook, even if you dig deep into analytics. The platform just doesn’t expose that level of user-level detail.

Oh yeah, sure, just magically open Facebook’s secret “who-stalked-my-videos” feature. Completely available, right next to Bigfoot sightings and alien conspiracies.

I’ve managed Facebook Pages for years, and trust me, the platform only gives aggregate insights. You can see retention graphs, demographics, and reach, but not individual viewers. So again, there’s no official way to see who views your videos on Facebook—any app claiming otherwise is almost certainly phishing or malware.

I usually just judge by the likes and comments. Sometimes you can guess who watched, but that’s about it. Honestly, the mystery makes it a bit more fun—like your own private audience.

No - you usually do not know who had watched your Facebook videos that you share on your feeds or on a Page. Facebook only indicates the number of views that a video has received and, in the case of Pages, such measures of analysis as engagement and watch time. It does not show a list of specific viewers in order to keep privacy. Nevertheless, the names of viewers are visible in case they like (or comment) or it is a Story or a Live video, which is live.

No — Facebook does not let you see who specifically views your videos.

You can view general analytics like total views, watch time, and engagement for videos you post, but you cannot see the names or identities of individual viewers unless they interact (like, comment, or share). This applies to personal profiles, Pages, and Groups. The privacy of users’ viewing activity is not disclosed.
