I want to know for sure: does instagram show screenshots to the user if I capture a photo from their story or a regular feed post? I know that in the past, there were tests where people got notifications, but I’m not sure if that is still active in 2026. I'm specifically curious if this applies to "Close Friends" content or if it's only restricted to disappearing direct messages in Vanish Mode.
