How to Deactivate Instagram?

To take a break from Instagram, log in on a browser, go to Profile - Edit Profile - Temporarily disable my account, and follow the steps, your account will be deactivated until you come back.
 
Go to Instagram on a browser → Profile → Edit Profile → Temporarily disable my account → Select reason → Enter password → Disable.
 
Log in to Instagram on a web browser, open Settings, select Accounts Center, choose Personal details, then Account ownership and control. Tap Deactivation or deletion, select your account, choose Deactivate, confirm your password, and submit. Profile remains hidden until reactivation.
 
To deactivate Instagram, log in on a web browser (not the app), go to Profile > Edit Profile, scroll down, and select Temporarily disable my account. Choose a reason, re-enter your password, and confirm. You can reactivate anytime by logging back in.
 
Deactivate Instagram by logging in from your web browser (it's not possible through the app), navigate to Settings, Edit Profile, Temporarily disable my account, select a reason, enter your password again, and confirm. So, your profile, photos, and comments will be invisible until you decide to log in again.
 
To deactivate Instagram, navigate to Settings > Accounts Center > Personal details. Select Account ownership and control, then Deactivation or deletion. Choose your account and select Deactivate account. Your profile will be hidden until you log back in.
