How to Hide Followers on Instagram?

I set my IG account to private but people can still see my followers. Am I missing a setting, or is it not possible to hide them fully? Need help.

You cannot hide your followers on Instagram, but you can make your account private so only approved followers can see your follower list.

Unfortunately, Instagram doesn’t let you completely hide followers from people who already follow you. Private accounts only stop strangers from seeing your posts and your follower list. Anyone you’ve approved as a follower can still see your followers and who you’re following. That’s just how the followers visibility is designed right now.

You can block specific users if you don’t want certain people to see your list, but there’s no global “hide followers” toggle.

Instagram doesn’t allow you to fully hide your followers list. Even on a private account, approved followers can still see it there’s no extra setting to hide followers completely.
