How to Remove a Bug on Monitor?

A tiny insect somehow managed to crawl behind the outer layer of my screen and died right in the middle of my field of view. Now that there is a dead bug on monitor pixels, is there any safe way to tap the screen or use a vacuum to move it to the edge without cracking the display?

Honestly, don’t tap or vacuum it you’ll risk damaging the screen; if it’s inside the panel, the only real fix is professional repair or living with it. I had this once and just adjusted my wallpaper to ignore it.

If a bug appears on your monitor, first check if it’s actually inside or just on the screen. Gently clean the surface with a microfiber cloth. If it’s inside, turn off your display and lightly tap or tilt it to encourage the bug to move. For persistent issues, avoid opening the monitor yourself—contact a professional to prevent damage.
