I recently switched from Windows and I’m still learning shortcuts. What’s the easiest way for how to screenshot on mac without downloading third-party software? I’ve seen different methods for how to screenshot on mac, but I’m confused about full-screen vs selected area captures.

To screenshot on a Mac without installing extra apps, use built-in keyboard shortcuts. Press Command (⌘) + Shift + 3 to capture the entire screen. Press Command (⌘) + Shift + 4 to select a specific area. For more options, press Command (⌘) + Shift + 5 to open the screenshot toolbar.
