Is It Bad to Keep an HP Laptop on Bed?

I often use my computer while sitting in my room, but I’ve noticed the fans start spinning incredibly fast after just a few minutes. Is keeping an hp laptop on bed surfaces dangerous for long-term health, or is the fabric simply blocking the intake vents? I'm worried about the internal temperature causing a hardware failure.

hey @arclion, tbh, wait, using your laptop on a bed can be pretty bad, actually, it can block the vents, honestly, with 2026's laptops getting more powerful, like the new AMD Ryzen 7000 series, heat management is key

uh, @arclion, actually, it's not just about the fabric blocking the vents, honestly, it can cause overheating, and with the new 2026 tech trend of more powerful laptops, like the AMD Ryzen 7000 series, it's pretty important to keep them well ventilated, tbh
