I prefer the older layout and want to windows 11 move taskbar to left like in previous versions. I tried adjusting settings but couldn’t find the same options. Did Microsoft fully remove the ability to windows 11 move taskbar to left, or is there a workaround?

No, Windows 11 no longer officially supports moving the taskbar to the left or top. By default, it only allows center or left alignment of icons. Advanced users can use registry tweaks or third-party apps like StartAllBack to reposition the taskbar, but these methods are unofficial and may risk system stability.

Yes, it is still possible to move the taskbar icons to the left in Windows 11. Go to Settings, select Personalization, then Taskbar, and open Taskbar behaviors. Under Taskbar alignment, choose Left instead of Center to shift icons easily.
