Our current outbound strategy is yielding low open rates. I’m curious what everyone is using for b2b saas lead generation is LinkedIn automation still viable, or is content-led growth the only way?
 
Same on my end. Cold email open rates have absolutely cratered since the new Google/Yahoo sender requirements. It’s a bloodbath.
 
LinkedIn automation is the fastest way to get your account restricted in 2026. Don't do it. The algorithm is punishing "automated" behavior hard. We switched to manual "Social Selling"—meaning we actually comment on prospects' posts for a week before sending a connection request. It's slower, but the conversion rate is 10x higher.
 
I get this "outbound is dead" message every year, yet my SDRs are still hitting targets. The secret? We stopped using generic sequences. We use AI to scrape their latest 10-K report or a recent podcast they did and reference a specific pain point. If your open rate is low, your subject lines are probably clickbait garbage.

Me too. Seriously, LinkedIn is just a circle-jerk of "thought leaders" now. Hard to find actual leads among the noise.
 
Have you tried ungated content? We stopped asking for emails for our whitepapers and just put them on a sub-stack. Our inbound leads actually went UP because people grew to trust our expertise before we ever asked for a meeting.
 
Same here. It really sucks. We tried LinkedIn automation tools last month and got three "Please leave me alone" messages and one lead that turned out to be a student. Total waste of time and money. If we don't fix our lead flow by Q3, we’re in trouble.
 
Wish I knew the magic bullet, unfortunately, I'm having the same issue. Everything feels like shouting into a void.
