I’ve been thinking a lot about malware protection after a friend accidentally downloaded an infected file and had to reset their entire system. I want strong protection, but I don’t want my computer to become slow or constantly show unnecessary alerts. There are so many options out there—built-in security, third-party tools, browser extensions—that it gets confusing. For those who’ve already set up reliable protection, what combination actually works without affecting performance? I’m especially concerned about real-time threats and phishing links.
