How do I Delete My Instagram Account?

I’m tired of social media and want a break. Can someone explain how do i delete my Instagram account permanently without losing data?

Be careful once you delete it, everything is gone. There’s no way to recover messages, followers, or posts. Make sure you download your data and double-check that it’s backed up before hitting delete.

If you want to delete your Instagram account forever, the first step is to log in through a web browser (use a browser, not the app). Totally get that, before deleting it permanently, just download your Instagram data from Settings → Accounts Center → Your Information. Once that’s saved, you can delete the account without losing your photos or memories.
