How to Turn Off Active Status on Instagram?

I don’t want people to know when I’m online, can someone explain how to turn off active status on Instagram without affecting messages?

To turn off Active Status on Instagram, go to Settings → Privacy → Activity Status and toggle Show Activity Status off.

To disable Active Status on Instagram, navigate to your profile, Settings & privacy, Messages and story replies, and then toggle Show activity status off. After you switch off the feature, nobody will be able to tell when you are online, and you will also not see the activity status of others.

Just go to Settings → Privacy → Activity Status and toggle off “Show Activity Status.” You’ll still get and send messages like normal, people just won’t see when you’re online.

Go to Instagram and open it, then go to Profile, then in the Settings and privacy section, there goes the Messages and story replies, there go it to Show activity status, then switch it off.
