Why is My Razer Blackshark Mic Not Working?

I’ve been having some trouble with my audio setup lately, specifically where the computer recognizes the device but won't pick up any input from the razer blackshark microphone. If anyone knows if this is a firmware issue or just a Windows privacy setting I missed, please let me know.

If your Razer BlackShark mic isn’t working, it’s usually something simple like the mic not being set as the default input device, muted in Windows or Razer Synapse, or the cable/jack not fully plugged in (especially if you’re using the splitter). I’ve also seen it happen when apps don’t have mic permission or the input level is set too low, so it’s worth checking sound settings and privacy settings first before assuming it’s a hardware issue.
